6. Commissioning, operation

6.2.5 Simulating a resistance and a resistance thermometer

As already described in chapter 6.2.4 "Resistance and temperature measurement with

a resistance thermometer" the model CEP3000 can be used as a resistance simulator

for resistance and resistance thermometers or as a measuring instrument. For maximum

accuracy, the device to be checked requires in many cases a 3-wire or 4-wire measure-

ment. For information on connections, see gure 7.
