7.2 Explanation of the display

7.2.1 Device status messages shortly after powering-up the CPH6000

Directly after the instrument is switched on, the following status messages are displayed

briey:

7. Commissioning, operation

a) The 24 V voltage supply (available on the top edge of the instrument) can be

switched on or o during the conguration of each operating mode. If it is not needed

for a measurement, then it should be switched o, in order to save energy.

b) Current battery level (see chapter 7.4.5 "SETUP additional menu items: CPH-Cong-

uration")

c) Height dierence in [mm]

In the "SETUP \ CPH-Conguration" menu, the height dierence between the test

specimen and the CPT6000 pressure sensor is set. This value prompts an automatic

correction calculation, which eliminates any pressure dierence caused by a head

pressure. This value must be correct for the following measuring procedure and/or

be adjusted accordingly in the "SETUP \ CPH-Conguration" menu (see chapter

7.4.5 “S

ETUP additional menu items: CPH-Conguration").

Temperature in [°C]

In the "SETUP \

CPH-Conguration

" menu, the temperature (ambient temperature) is

entered. This value can be adjusted accordingly in the "SETUP \

CPH-Conguration

menu (see chapter 7.4.5 "SETUP additional menu items:

CPH-Conguration

").

e) Current date of the integrated real-time clock

In the "SETUP \ CPH-Conguration" menu, the date of the real-time clock is set,

which is later marked on the calibration certicate. This value must be correct for the

following measuring procedure in calibration mode and/or be adjusted accordingly in

the "SETUP \ CPH-Conguration“ menu (see chapter

7.4.5 “S

ETUP additional menu

items: CPH-Conguration").

f) Calibration date for the electrical measuring inputs of the CPH6000 (Year/Month/Day)
